Come Grow With Us
Join a community rooted in nature, reciprocity, and shared living.Who Thrives Here
We are not looking for experts. What matters most to us is kindness, respect, adaptability, and a genuine interest in sustainability, nature, and simple living. If you are curious, open-minded, and happy to collaborate in a positive environment, there’s a good chance you’ll feel at home here.

What We Share
We provide accommodation, transportation to the farm, and three meals per day, often with extra snacks or desserts because we genuinely enjoy cooking and sharing food together. Our meals are mostly plant-based, and vegetarian or vegan diets are very welcome. If you have allergies or intolerances, we will always do our best to accommodate them within shared meals.
Beyond the practical exchange, we hope to offer an experience centered around nature, creativity, collaboration, and cultural exchange.

Ways to Contribute
No experience is needed — curiosity and willingness to learn matter more to us. Depending on the season, you may help with planting trees, caring for the vegetable garden, building small structures like gabion walls or cob projects, digging, organizing shared spaces, cooking meals, animal care, social media or website ideas, and researching grants or funding opportunities.
A Typical Day at Kalypso Island
Our days usually begin around 8:30 a.m. with breakfast together. Work starts around 9:00 a.m., and we normally ask for 4–5 hours of help per day, five days a week. The schedule is flexible and changes depending on the weather, the season, and the tasks at hand. Most activities happen in the morning, leaving afternoons free for rest, exploring the area, or personal time. Lunch is shared together around 2:00 p.m., while dinner is usually lighter and more informal. Transportation to the farm is provided, and bicycles are available for personal use.

Shared Spaces, Shared Responsibilities
Kalypso is our home and a project we are building together through reciprocity, respect, and shared responsibility. In return for around 25 hours of help per week, we simply ask everyone to contribute naturally to daily life and help care for the shared spaces by leaving them as clean as they were found.
